[mw2600] DefCon planning

It's that time of the year again! If you're planning on hitting DefCon 13,
we'll be collaborating at the next St. Louis meeting (July first). Here
are some preliminary things to be aware of:

--This year DefCon falls between July 29 and 31.
--Admission is $80 (cash only) at the door-- no presales.
--The Alexis Park (DefCon hotel) is sold out, as usual. Usually people get
rooms at the San Tropez next door, or hotels down the street.
--Plane tickets from St. Louis Lambert to Las Vegas McCarran typically run
between $350-400, since late July is peak travel time.
--If you're more inclined, the drive is about 1600 miles, and gas prices
jump to around $2.40 after Denver. Some of us are planning a
carpool/caravan.
--For maximum con enjoyment, I recommend arriving on Thursday to meet
early arrivals and help out with the con. Leaving on late Sunday/early
Monday (or staying out west a few extra weeks for fun) is not frowned
upon.
