I agree about the lack of internet, but I think we'd be okay on the venue.  
After the last meeting, a bunch of us went to Denny's and hung out for quite 
awhile without a problem -- I even had my laptop setup on the table (we were 
working on a Wikipedia bio), and they never hassled us -- just kept refilling tea 
or coffee as needed.  Then again, we *had* just ordered a full meal, so they 
might not have been as kind if there were a majority of non-paying customers!
