Saint Louis MIssouri hackspace project. Meetings are every Tue. at the
P{izzaworld in Deer Creek Center Shopping Mall in Maplewood MIssouri. Anyone
interested in being part of a hackerspace is strongly encouraged to come. A
full agenda is currently being set at the STL Hackerspace forums (
http://stlspace.copyleftwriting.org/forum). A Hackerspace is "place where
people with common interests, usually in science, technology, or digital or
electronic art can meet, socialise and collaborate." We encourage you to

This is great to hear!

I no longer live in the Midwest, but I would love to help in any way I can.
I'm currently involved with San Francisco's Noisebridge space, which along
with NYC Resistor and maybe HACDC has become active hacker space in the
country.

If you need any help or advice, feel free to send questions my way.
Noisebridge has already gone through several phases of "issues", plus I'm
originally from the Lou, so I have a pretty good idea of the problems you'll
start to face. If it helps, I can also put you in touch with Bre Pettis
(Resistor), Nick Farr (HACDC), and Eric Michaud (PumpingStationOne), all are
very nice and approachable guys who have done a lot of cool things.

I don't know how many active subscribers are left here due to internet rot,
but you should try to get ahold of evoen, digital abuzer, Elonka, and phiple
treonix if he's still around.

What a breath of fresh air!  There have been previous talks about projects 
just like this, just no time available to get them up 
and running.  I have an interest and will be joining to forum. Hope to see 
you all at a meet up soon.
